He had it parked on the street next to his house, but one cold morning in April 2008 it copped a pretty hard hit up the backside from a P-plater in a Holden Caprice, just before 8am.

As you can see in the pictures, this incident is a good illustration of why you should wait a few minutes for your windscreen to de-fog on those frosty winter mornings. 

As well as the obvious panel damage to both cars, his BMW suffered some transmission damage from being punted forward about ten metres down the road with the car in Park.
