Ella's mum Emily has recently started a blog chronicling Ella's life and constant health battles, from the intense and emotive first person perspective of a parent: http://www.ellasstory.com/
In the posts so far, she's described how everything started, not long after Ella was born as a seemingly normal baby. http://www.ellasstory.com/2012/01/25/in-the-beginning/
I finally got around to processing some black and white 35mm film photos I took during one of Ella's hospital stays in late December, when I made this post: http://carscameraschronicillness.blogspot.com.au/2011/12/ellas-story-hospital-visit-for-picc.html
The more natural look of the film gives the photos a different mood compared to the digital pictures in colour. And interesting in that I didn't see these photos for a couple of months after I took them. All shot with a Canon EOS 33 SLR + 50mm f/1.8 lens, on Kodak TMAX 400 black and white negative film.
The post above describes pretty well what was happening on the day, so I'll just post the photos in this one.
